Meet Our Founder & Executive Chef
Chef Howard Seivright is a Toronto-based professional private chef whose culinary journey is rooted in Jamaican heritage, soul food traditions, and the power of family gathered around the table. Inspired by Sunday dinners hosted by his aunt Sharon, where food wasn’t just cooked but shared with intention. With over a decade of experience, Chef Howard learned early on that great meals can keep families connected and communities strong.
His cooking philosophy is grounded in respect: respect for ingredients, for people, and for culture. Chef Howard believes food is a language of connection, one that tells stories of place, history, and identity.
For Chef Howard, great food doesn’t need to be complicated, it needs to be intentional. While technique is essential, purpose always comes first. He approaches the craft with curiosity and discipline, continuously learning and challenging himself to grow as a chef, while creating meaningful experiences that bring people together through food.
Above all, Chef Howard cooks because food connects him to people in ways words cannot. Every meal is an opportunity to create comfort, spark memory, and build genuine connection, one plate at a time.
“If having a private chef isn’t the right fit, you can still experience my food through my recipe blog, bring the flavours into your own kitchen and let me know what you think.”
